FAQS
How often do you deliver?
We generally deliver once a week around Bristol.
Where do you deliver?
We are currently delivering across Bristol. Do message us in advance if you're not sure whether your postcode is too far out.
Can you post the cakes further afield?
Yes! These are sent out with a DHL 24hr courier service. This costs £10 and requires a minimum order of £25.
Can I request a specific delivery date, i.e. for a friend's birthday?
If you have a particular date in mind, do pop this in the notes section upon checkout or contact us beforehand to check. If you live close-by to us, this shouldn't be a problem. Please do be mindful that everything does arrive frozen, so if our delivery dates fall a few days before you want the cakes, this does allow the flexibility to hide things away in the freezer if saving for a special occasion.
Can I purchase these as a gift for someone?
Absolutely! Just fill in their name, address and phone number in the delivery section. You can also leave any message you would like to be included in the notes section upon checkout.
How long do the cakes take to defrost?
Hardly any time at all. Approx 10 minutes and they're good to go! Some are even great as ice cream cakes straight from the freezer. :)
How long do the cakes last once defrosted?
This varies from cake to cake, which will all be individually labelled with this info in your delivery. Generally the ones containing fresh fruits last up to 4 days in the fridge, and the purely chocolate based ones last up to 10 days.
How long can I store these in the freezer?
I'd recommend a similar amount of time to how long you would store ice cream, around 3 months. The reality of the situation though is more like a few days, right?! ;)
Can you do special commissions?
Currently not unfortunately... I am working around my two year old son which is pretty hectic as it is just with our regular orders!
I'm allergic to a specific ingredient. How do I check the cake ingredients?
On our home page, if you click on any picture of the cake you like the look of, it takes you to an individual profile for each cake, where the ingredients are all fully listed.
How do I check the nutritional content?
Again, if you click on any picture of the cake you like the look of, it takes you to an individual profile for each cake, where the nutritional content is listed.
Are all your cakes vegan?
Yes
Are all your cakes gluten free?
Yes
Are all your cakes grain free?
Yes
Are any of your cakes nut free?
Yes. The Fresh Prince and the Ay Caramba! However, please be aware that these are made in the same kitchen where nuts are processed.
Are any of your cakes diabetic friendly/low carb?
Yes. Currently just the Sublime. We are hoping to bring out some more in the future, so watch this space. You can also compare and contrast the carb content of the other cakes on their individual profile pages.
Are your cakes Organic?
We purchase the majority of our organic ingredients through Essential Trading, Nutricraft and Tree Harvest. Unfortunately Organic certification is way too expensive for us to contemplate, but if anyone did wish to see any evidence of our organic purchases, feel free to get in touch.
